Kumihimo – Workshop
Learn Kumi. You can learn to make basic bracelets, necklaces and even fashion accessories. You will learn how to create them with simple string and from there you can take it to new levels by using beads, chain you name it!
This class will be a 2-hour class you could make one or two depending on your speed.

Kit Fee: $20, payable directly to the instructor at the beginning of the class

- None, all tools provided for use in class
- Feel free to bring you tools if you’d like to use your own

Instructor: Laurie Poirier
Laurie Poirier is a Toronto Artisan who has been crafting in various forms since childhood. As an adult, she began teaching paper crafting and through that found her passion for teaching jewellery to all ages.
Laurie has taught children in schools to seniors in Church groups. Her classes range from Jewellery 101 to more advanced Chainmaille and Wire working.
Laurie has been selling at craft shows for the past eight years and teaching for the past six years at Michael’s, John Bead Outlet, Gem Expo, Craftandian and her own private home studio.
