Our names are Arean and Andreea. We co-founded AREEAN in May 2017.
Arean is originally from Afghanistan. He is an engineer, a passionate traveler and a fanatic about Afghan history and all its treasures. Andreea is currently studying in International Development and is interested in the ways that entrepreneurship can drive positive change forward. Coming from very different backgrounds, we joined forces to try to make a difference, no matter how small.
Afghanistan has a long and proud history. The country was for centuries the centre of immense empires. Nevertheless, in recent years, international news from Afghanistan have been dominated by stories of war and poverty.
